Artist Profile

As Margy approached retirement from her career as a lawyer, she started art lessons for the first time in 2016 through Maryland Park and Planning classes. She has been encouraged and inspired by her studies with DC artist Chinedu Osuchukwu. Margy enjoys drawing with oil pastels and colored pencils as well as painting with water colors. Raised in New York City, she moved to DC in 1975 and to Maryland in 1995. Margy has a BA from Swarthmore College and a JD from Columbia University.
